Hi, I’m Abdul.

With over 22 years in customer success and 11+ years in managing and running a plastic surgery practices and medspas with multiple locations, with 8 figures revenues focusing on Healthcare IT project management and execution, I focus on the integration of healthcare, aesthetic medicine, and IT. My commitment is to bolster brand image, customer loyalty, and profitability through innovative and strategic process improvements.

Expertise in business development, operations, procurement, B2B, digital marketing, cloud migration, team building, and credentialing management forms the backbone of my professional skill set. I have led healthcare programs, managed SMB team sizes, and pioneered the development of elective ambulatory surgery centers, with a strong emphasis on process optimization through data analytics. Driven by a passion for continuous learning and facing new challenges, my objective is to enhance business value and establish industry standards in aesthetic medicine.

Some of the projects I overseen, executed or planned over the past decade include:

·         2014: improved surgeries scheduling and overall conversion rates for an Oculo facial plastic surgery practice

·         2014: Designed the technical requirements for networking for a large Medspa and plastic surgery practice. It included choosing, designing, and procuring all computer, audio, video, and medical equipment for a 5000 square feet state of the art location that included a AAAHC accredited ambulatory surgical center.

·         2015: Created a checklist and procedure policy guide to improve conversion rates for surgical clients post consultation and to decrease the time between consult to surgery by over 50%.

·         2016: Managed the migration from paper charts to electronic medical charts for a large medical practice for over 10,000 charts, this included planning, execution and delivering.

·         2018: managed and executed migration and upgrading medical data from an outdated computer server to a new server and setting backups. This included getting quotations, sorting vendors for hardware and software, communicating with medical software companies to get the minimum and preferred hardware requirements, scheduling back/up and data migration dates, purchasing the hardware and contracting with vendors to assemble and install the hardware/ software for the new server. Creating checklists for deliverables, execution, and project end date.

·         2019: Created a set of essential Key Performance indicators to track the efficiency and profitability of the practice that enabled us to make better business decisions in terms of hiring staff, introducing new technologies in our medspa and pinpointing the best ad spend based on performance and leads.

·         2019: managing the recredentialing of an accredited ambulatory surgical center by designing and executing all requirements set by the accreditation institute and creating a manual and a procedural checklist for future credentialing, training staff to our new policies and ensuring that we are in compliance with all required policies and procedures, and passing the credentialing survey performed by the credentialing organization.

·         2020: managed procuring, leasing, equipping a new satellite office as for a plastic surgery practice. This included all aspects from finding a suitable location, furnishing, computer and networking equipment, medical equipment needed, getting medical supplies inventory, hiring new staff, announcing, and marketing for the new location, and the opening party.

·         2021: Created Shopify store to showcase and sell products and services for a Medspa online with results of sales of over $100K in the first 12 months post launch.

·         2023: Studied and started using the paid version of ChatGPT and other AI tools to help streamline business operations and decrease workload and delays between marketing and go live functions.

2024: Decided to start sharing my knowledge to help other fellow Medspa operators reach their full potential and so HERE WE ARE.
